For my outreach and communication work I have been awarded the Institute of Physics' Mary Sommerville Medal.
Events
Provided delivery and support for a range of one-off events and festivals. This has involved all levels of involvement.
Own Events
Development from conception through to delivery. Managing a team and ensuring high quality outcomes. All events ran for multiple years and collectively attracted thousands of attendees.

Helping those with some public engagement further development of their ideas and strategy for more effective outreach.

I have worked developing bespoke outreach activities, workshops, and events for clients. Also worked developing communication strategies around academic projects.

Advocacy
I sit on advisory committies with the following organisations advocating communication skills and support for early career researchers (ECRs).
I am always happy to offer free discussions with ECRs about their interest in science communication and how to support their careers.
As part of the STFC Public Engagement in Early-career Research (PEER) Forum I helped produce several documents:- Early Career Experiences of Public Engagement Report
